These are some of watercolor magazines I would recommend. Not all watercolor magazines are appropriate for beginners. These are the ones that often have information that is useful for watercolor beginners.
Watercolor Artist Magazine: From an instructional standpoint, this is probably my favorite watercolor magazine.
American Artist Watercolor Magazine: This is also a great watercolor magazine but it isn’t as suited for beginners as Watercolor Artist. However, I subscribe to this one as well.
American Artist Drawing Magazine: This is a great drawing instruction magazine and it is important to develop your drawing skills while you are developing your painting skills. Both are required.
International Artist Magazine: I love this magazine but it is not watercolor specific. However, there are usually two or three watercolor articles and at least one step by step demonstration.
